Dark, dangerous, beyond sexy erotic romances about high-octane men and the daring women they will risk all for, even their hearts.

The Wicked Lovers Series is my guilty pleasure, though be forewarned that these books are not for the easily offended. There’s a lot of BDSM play going on and more than a handful of ménages. These are works of Erotic art in the truest sense. Black paints amazing images that are so vivid that it’s beyond like watching a movie, it’s like watching the…um, action… take place right in front of you. There’s no mincing the details or flowery language like you’d find in your grandmother’s hidden harlequin novels.

Each novel follows a different couple, though all of your favorite characters can be found in the novels after it, at least in passing. As the women in each novel find themselves in harrowing situations, a deliciously sexy hero comes to their aid. Though none of these women are weak, mind you. They’re not damsels in distress, but they learn that allowing their dark knight to both help them shoulder their burdens and open them up to hot, steamy pleasures they hadn’t dreamed… or a least not admitted to dreaming of… is worth the risk.

Beyond Black’s amazing wordplay, the plots are interesting, well-planned, and quite plausible. The situations these women find themselves in are actually likely to happen in this day and age. While each novel is technically your average “naughty-ever-after” tale, Black’s ability as a writer makes this series one of the best, not just in its genre, but overall.
